PhD Research Projects 2024 is the eighteenth annual conference and exhibition of doctoral research at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. This publication presents work by students undertaking an Architectural Design or Architectural and Urban History and Theory MPhil/PhD at The Bartlett. This year, it also includes four contributions by students from the Architectural Space & Computation, Architecture & Digital Theory, The Bartlett Development Planning Unit and The Bartlett School of Planning MPhil/PhD programmes.
This year’s conference and exhibition
is dedicated to the memory of Professor
Jonathan Hill (1958–2023). It is a modest
tribute to the lasting legacy of the founding, long-standing Director of the MPhil/PhD Architectural Design programme.
